Admire the Benches on the Avenue themed "Fairy Tale Festival". Vibrant, colorful, 3-D designs will be created by talented artists based on classic stories of magical and imaginary beings and lands where characters and objects are transformed before our very eyes. This public art program has become one of the Village's most popular attractions, annually drawing thousands of residents and visitors to Downtown Tinley Park. Tinley's Toyland Parade celebrates the official arrival of Santa and Mrs Claus who will head over to the Oak Park Avenue train station immediately following the parade.

Where: Viewing Area 177th Street along Oak Park Avenue.
The Parade of Lights includes festive floats, vehicles, local businesses, community groups and school bands displaying the spirit of the season. Our guests from the North Pole will be making a special appearance.

Bring the whole family to this exciting new event. Wear an Easter bonnet or hat and win a prize! Enjoy a visit with the Easter Bunny, the Bunny Hop, Crafts, Cookies, Games and more. There will also be DJ Entertainment, $1 cookie decorating and food. Visit the vintage dress & bonnet display at the Historical Society. Don’t forget your camera! This event will be held rain or shine. An Easter Egg Hunt will take place (weather permitting) at 12:30 p.m. for Ages 3 and under and Ages 4 & 5, then at 1:00 p.m. for Ages 6 – 9.
